ADOBE STUDIO

The Adobe Studio structure was built over a hundred years ago. It was converted from a blacksmiths shop, to a studio in 2007. This is another of the Vincent Van Hoff designs at Sonic Ranch, as Vincent brought extraordinary magic to everything he did.

This extraordinary 8088 Neve console has 40 channels of Class A 31102 mic pre/EQs and Neve flying faders. This console previously belonged to Sylvia Massy, and was acquired from Mad Dog Studios in Burbank from Dusty Wakeman. This is the best 8088 in existence.

We have tie-lines running from the control room to the Echo house which contains four individual iso-rooms that sometimes double for bedrooms.

The beautiful tracking room has extraordinary diffusion panels and a Vincent Van Hoff held hole resonator diffusion wall. The sound is amazing.

Part of the collection of our vintage Tweed Amplifiers resides in the Adobe tracking room along with a vintage Fender Leslie.

There is a vintage B3 organ with a 147 Leslie that also resides in the Adobe tracking room, along with a Marc Chagall original lithograph.
